Sarda is a highly experienced leader in strategy, learning, organisational development, and social impact, with over 25 years of expertise in delivering complex projects, policies, and service improvements across multiple sectors. She specialises in managing change, cross-sector engagement, and developing innovative solutions to critical social challenges.

As the founder and director of Agreement Works, Sarda is dedicated to reshaping the way consent is understood, taught and practiced. She is working with subject matter experts to develop multiple consent-related educational games, training programs and resources that equip individuals with essential consent skills. Her trauma-informed approach, influenced by her own lived experiences, ensures that the work of Agreement Works is both impactful and inclusive.

Sarda’s career spans government, private training consultancies, business, and the not-for-profit sector. In New Zealand, she played a key role in establishing Wellington’s first Women’s Refuge and worked as educator, teaching the full range of primary school subjects as well as drama, physical education, and gifted & talented programs. She has lived, worked, and volunteered in New Zealand, Australia, India, and Singapore, contributing to diverse initiatives that support social equity and learning.

Known for her strategic thinking, ability to connect ideas and people, and passion for driving meaningful change, Sarda is committed to ensuring that conversations about consent are accessible, engaging, and embedded in everyday life. Gabrielle Hicks is a passionate advocate for the integration of mental health, law, medicine, and social justice, with a specific focus on advancing the conversation around consent education. Gabrielle has worked extensively with vulnerable populations, especially those navigating the complexities of injury law and facing barriers in medical and legal systems. This wealth of experience has equipped her with a profound understanding of how these fields intersect, positioning her as an invaluable asset to Agreement Works.

As Lead Advisor at Agreement Works, Gabrielle is committed to ensuring that the critical topics of consent, boundaries, and legal accountability are addressed in both practical and progressive ways. Drawing from her expertise in advocacy, policy, and mental health, she works to streamline complex systems, enhance educational outreach, and create real-world solutions that benefit individuals and communities.
